One of the most prominent universities in Bihar, Magadh University, is situated in Bodh Gaya and was founded in 1962. It is a member of the University Grants Commission. The University has different programs for students to study, including online classes. Many specializations are available in the BA, MA, M.Sc, B.Sc, M.Com, and B.Com degrees.
Students who have completed the Intermediate or Class 12th examination and wish to enrol in colleges affiliated with Magadh University must apply to degree programs through the University’s admissions portal. Beginning on May 20, 2023, there began accepting online applications for Magadh University Part 1 Admission. Online applications must be submitted to be considered for access to the BA, BSc, and BCom (Hons/Gen) programs at the affiliated or constituent colleges of Magadh University. According to a UGC announcement, Magadh University will begin implementing the CBCS pattern in Undergraduate courses during the academic year 2023–2027.

How to Apply Online for UG Degree-I Admission at Magadh University in 2023?
- Go to www.magadhuniversity.in, the school’s official website.
- Select the “UG Admission 2023” link on the website’s home page.
- A new window will appear.
- A new user must first register by providing their mobile number, email address, and birthdate.
- Re-login using your password and user ID.
- Complete the application correctly, including all personal, academic, and correspondence information.
- Include the necessary documents in the online application form.
- Select your preferred college and course information.
- Pay for the UG Admission application form online.
- Download the completed online application form and confirmation page.
Necessary documents for Magadh University Part 1 Admission
Students must turn in their diplomas for processing and verification. The certificates must be sent with the registration form before the deadline. The list of required paperwork is as follows:
- A phone number and email address that are being used.
- Information on personal and educational credentials.
- Caste/Tribe Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC Candidates)
- A disability certificate for those with disabilities
- JPG/JPEG scans of all academic credentials, with a maximum file size of 2 Mb.
- A JPG or JPEG-formatted scanned image that shouldn’t be larger than 2 Mb.
- A JPG or JPEG-formatted scanned signature that is no larger than 2 MB.

Magadh University Part 1 Admission – Instructions
- The three best optional/elective papers and one language paper will be used to calculate the total CBSE marks.
- For CBSE students, the following formula can be used to calculate an indicative equivalence of Grade Points and percentage of marks:
- Subject-specific meaningful percentage of marks =9.5x GP of the subject;
- Overall indicative per cent of marks equals 9.5 times the CGPA.
